Important Notice: These Terms and Conditions are a general template prepared for informational purposes only based on standard e-commerce practices and key requirements under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 (Consumer Protection Law, as amended), Federal Decree-Law No. 14/2023 (Trading through Modern Technology / E-Commerce Law), and related regulations. This is not legal advice. Restat is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and you must have these Terms reviewed and customized by a qualified UAE-licensed lawyer before use. This includes mandatory Arabic-language disclosures and full compliance checks.

By accessing or using the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or place orders.

1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Company”, “Restat”: Restat, a business registered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

“Website”: The official Restat online store and any associated platforms.

“You”, “Customer”, “Buyer”: The individual or entity accessing the Website or purchasing Products.

“Products”: Self-designed items and related products offered for sale on the Website.

“Order”: Your request to purchase Products.

2. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced, govern your use of the Website and all purchases. By browsing, placing an Order, or creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

3. Eligibility and Use of the Website

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel Orders at our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) cases of suspected fraud, violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or non-compliance with UAE law.

4. Ordering and Contract Formation

Displaying Products on the Website is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer.

Your Order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any Order for any reason (e.g., product unavailability, pricing error, suspected fraud, or regulatory requirements).

A contract is formed only when we send you written confirmation accepting your Order.

We may cancel an Order before dispatch and will notify you promptly with a full refund if payment has been taken.

5. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Additional fees (shipping, customs for international Orders) will be clearly shown before checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice prior to Order acceptance. Once your Order is confirmed, the price is fixed (subject to any applicable UAE law on advertised pricing).

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed securely.

You agree to pay all charges associated with your Order.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times and costs are estimates only and may vary. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the address provided (or when goods are handed to the carrier, as applicable under UAE law).

International Orders may incur customs duties/taxes payable by you. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.

Delivery is subject to force majeure events (see Section 13).

7. Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, and Warranties

Cancellations: You may cancel an Order before it is dispatched by contacting us. Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

Returns and Refunds:

Refunds are not permitted once a Product has been delivered to the address you provided.

Refunds may be issued in the following cases only, at our sole discretion:

Before the Product is dispatched.

If the delivery service loses the item (subject to sufficient proof from the carrier and our verification).

Incorrect items shipped due to our error.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within the timeframe we specify after verification. We reserve the right to refuse any refund request where sufficient proof is not provided or where the claim does not meet the conditions above.

Warranties: We honor all mandatory obligations under UAE Consumer Protection Law and all Products are provided “as is” without additional warranties.

8. Intellectual Property Rights and Anti-Counterfeiting

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, designs, graphics, and the self-designed Products themselves, is owned by or licensed to Restat and protected by UAE and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and purchase Products for personal, non-commercial use only.

You agree not to: copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any of our designs, Products, or content without our prior written consent. This includes manufacturing, selling, or distributing counterfeit or substantially similar items.

Any unauthorized reproduction, counterfeiting, or infringement of our intellectual property will result in legal action under UAE law. We will pursue criminal complaints, civil damages, injunctions, and report violations to relevant authorities.

You warrant that your Order does not infringe any third-party rights and agree to indemnify Restat against any related claims.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Website for fraud, intellectual property infringement, transmission of harmful code, or any illegal activity. Violations may lead to immediate account termination, Order cancellation, and reporting to authorities.

10. Disclaimers and Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, the Website and Products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties except those mandatory under UAE Consumer Protection Law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Restat’s total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Product giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages except where prohibited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Restat harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Website/Products.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond our reasonable control.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website or new Orders after the updated version is posted constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

16. Severability and Entire Agreement

Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder. These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
